Raise awareness for the Brothers in Arms Memorial and Drive Donations for the construction and installation of a stone memorial depicting scenes from joint battles fought by Indian and Canadian soldiers.

Mission

Raise awareness for the Brothers in Arms Memorial.
Drive Donations for the construction and installation of a stone memorial depicting scenes from joint battles fought by Indian and Canadian soldiers.
Ensure the sacrifices of these soldiers are remembered and honored.
Inspire future generations with the values of humanity and freedom through the
commemoration of this shared history.

Challenges

In developing the visual identity for this Canadian-Indian cultural initiative, I encountered a fascinating design challenge:

how to maintain the symbolic integrity of three distinct cultural elements while creating a cohesive, unified logo.

The three-color palette was carefully selected to honor both Canadian and Indian heritage, with each element representing a core pillar of the campaign's mission.

The client's feedback pushed me to evolve the design beyond my initial three-block concept while preserving these essential symbolic components.
This creative tension became an opportunity to explore innovative compositional techniques that could weave these separate elements into a harmonious whole without sacrificing their individual significance.

The solution required finding a visual language where multiplicity and unity could coexist much like the cultural dialogue the campaign itself aims to foster.

Outcome

After careful consideration of the client's feedback, I developed a unified logo solution that preserves all three essential cultural elements while achieving the cohesion and visual harmony the client desired.
The redesigned logo integrates these symbolic components into a single, compelling visual identity that maintains its impact and legibility across all applications. I created a comprehensive set of logo variations optimized for:

Print materials (high-resolution versions for brochures, posters, and business collateral)
Digital platforms (responsive versions for website headers, social media profiles, and mobile applications)
Merchandise applications (adaptable versions for everything from t-shirts to promotional items)
Website integration (formats that maintain visual consistency while accommodating different screen sizes and resolutions)

This versatile design system ensures the logo retains its integrity and communicates the campaign's core message effectively, regardless of scale or medium.

The solution successfully balances the client's need for unity with our commitment to honoring both Canadian and Indian cultural elements through the carefully selected three-color palette.
